Opera browser design and operation
Opera is a relatively new browser on the market. The Opera browser download is free. The design is very clean and the operation of the browser very efficient. Unfortunately, when I used Opera, a large portion of webpages weren't displayed correctly. This is because the user base of Opera is too small and therefore, there simply are not a lot of websites that are designed specifically for the Opera Browser. This is in contrast to FireFox and Internet Explorer. Additionally, some web designers don't even test their websites compatibility on Opera.
Opera Browser safety and security
Safety and security are where Free Opera scores extra points. This is directly related to the fact that the user base is not that large and therefore there are not that many vulnerabilities that specifically target Opera. Opera also has effective phishing protection like Internet Explorer and FireFox. Finally, Opera is a secure browser, but website support is just too low. Therefore, I believe FireFox still remains a better choice because it strikes a balance between website compatibility (Internet Explorer) and great security (Opera.)
